So last Friday I got this phone call from a young woman inquiring about wedding packages and of course my first question to her was 'whats the date of your event?'... 'Tomorrow' she says..Well to cut a very long story short I eventually spent a little over two hours with Veronika & Victor and enjoyed every minute in their company. - Here's some of what we got.
We met at the Lily Pond in Lincoln Park with their parents and Victors brother & girlfriend
Victor was clearly impressed with his bride, and quite frankly, who wouldn't be? - She was Gorgeous!
Veronika loved her dress, so much in fact that when they got to the airport in NY (on their way to Chicago) and realized they had left it in their apartment, they missed their flight to go back & get it. I think it was worth it don't you?
Have you ever wondered what your photo session might have looked like at another time of year? Thanks to photoshop you can find out!
After the Lily Pond we walked down to the lake for some twilight shots across to the city.
The it was back to the van and on to Navy Pier for the wedding on board The Mystic Blue.
Veronika's Dad Sasha walked her up the aisle and despite the 40 degree temperature and a brisk breeze she keeps her radiant smile all the way through the ceremony.
Victors Mom & Dad, happy he's found such a lovely young lady to marry.
One last picture of everyone before they go down & get warmed up.
Victor met Veronika at a club where he was DJ-ing and they made wedding favors for their guests using old record singles commemorating that moment.
One last trip into the cold to get a shot of them by their boat on the pier...
I left them there at the Mystic Blue and as I walked back to the entrance they headed back up the gangplank for their reception with their friends and family, and I hope to a wonderful loving happy future together.
Congratulations!
