Renee & Noel - A cool May breeze...

Renee called me a few weeks ago about the possibility of shooting her midweek May wedding. It sounded like great fun and we set things up, planning for a lovely early summer morning. Well the weather wasn't quite what we and expected but a happy couple is the best way to ensure a fun event and some great pictures...

An umbrella can be a useful romantic prop...

After 20 minutes down in the loop, we headed out to the planetarium for some very windy moments in front of the city skyline.

We were going to end up at the Lily Pond in Lincoln Park so we also grabbed a few more stormy cityscape pictures on the way.

The wedding was attended by a few family members from Colorado & California, bravely coping with the somewhat wintry conditions.

After getting a few family portraits by the pond we headed up to the conservatory for a warm up, my cameras took 15 minutes to make the adjustment to the temperature change..

Renee can finally relax in her little bridal sundress without getting goosebumps, and even do a little dancing.

And then they all went off for a nice lunch while the sun continued to try and make a breakthrough so that they might finally be able to enjoy the city without coats & gloves!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
