Hima & Roshan... The Multi-Colored Dream Wedding

Just a couple of months ago we did their engagement pictures in the city center and a few days ago,on a sunny October weekend they were married. Gina and I were able to photograph some of the fun, color, excitement & emotion of their fabulous series of events.

Gina and I started our part of the weekend at the Pandya family home in Orland Park for her Grashanti (Roshan had his simultaneously at his parents home in Naperville)

That evening both families got together at the Waterford Banquets center for the Garba, which can be summarized as pictures, prayers appetizers and ALOT of dancing

On the day of the wedding we showed up bright and early, but the bride & groom were in hiding. Hima behind her hair...

...and Roshan behind wind blown silk.

Once Hima emerged however she was looking beautiful!

Roshan makes his arrival with his entourage.

And finally the bride makes her entrance.

Sunit, the brides brother, proudly displaying the grooms rather tattered wedding shoes, and they were so lovely!

Time for Roshan to take his bride off to her new life.

Part 2 - After a (very) brief lunch break Hima prepares for her reception, doesn't she look fabulous?

Roshan, after a rather longer break gets ready too. Guys have it so easy!

Moms & Dads

India house provided the amazing food - and I'm already looking forward to our next Indian wedding!

And THAT's what it looks like when everything comes together for a wonderful event.
Great facility, Awesome DJ, Utterly FABULOUS Food and of course a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE & HANDSOME GROOM, along with warm gracious and generally lovely family & friends - Perfect!
